Privacy policy
Effective Date / Last Updated: July 24, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how MEOWPAMPER LLC, operating the TRILUMITY store at trilumity.com ("we," "us," "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information, and the privacy rights available to you. It applies to visitors and customers of our Site in the United States. We wrote it in plain language on purpose: you should not need a law degree to understand what happens to your data.
Short version: we collect what we need to run the store and fulfill your orders, we do not sell your personal information for money, we honor Global Privacy Control signals automatically, and you can contact us any time at support@trilumity.com.
2. Notice at Collection
The table below describes the categories of personal information we collect, where each comes from, why we collect it, who we share it with, whether we sell it, and how long we keep it.
| Category collected | Sources | Purpose | Shared with | Sold? | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Identifiers (name, email, phone, shipping address, IP address) | You (checkout, account, support emails); your device | Process and deliver orders; customer support; fraud prevention | Fulfillment partners in China; US logistics providers (USPS, UPS, FedEx); Shopify (store platform) | NO | While your account/order records are active, then up to 7 years for tax and legal records |
| Customer records (order details, support correspondence) | You; our order system | Fulfill orders; handle returns, refunds, and warranty-of-law claims; keep required business records | Fulfillment partners in China (order and shipping data only); returns facility operator in Texas; Shopify | NO | Up to 7 years (tax and accounting requirements) |
| Payment information (payment method type, billing address; card numbers are handled by processors, not stored by us) | You at checkout | Charge for orders; issue refunds; prevent fraud | Payment processors (e.g., Shopify Payments, PayPal); these providers maintain PCI DSS compliance | NO | Transaction records up to 7 years; full card numbers are never stored by us |
| Commercial information (products viewed, purchases, cart activity) | You; your activity on the Site | Order history; service improvement; email marketing if you opt in | Shopify; analytics providers; email service provider | NO | While relevant to your customer relationship, then deleted or anonymized |
| Internet activity (pages visited, device/browser type, cookies) | Your device via cookies and similar technologies | Site operation; analytics; advertising measurement | Analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics); advertising partners (see Section 4) | NO (some sharing for cross-context ads may count as "sharing" under the CPRA — you can opt out, see Section 8) | Cookie lifetimes vary; analytics data typically up to 26 months |
| Coarse geolocation (city/region inferred from IP) | Your device | Fraud screening; tax calculation; regional content | Shopify; fraud-screening tools | NO | Same as internet activity data |
We do not collect sensitive personal information such as government ID numbers, precise geolocation, health data, or biometric data, and we do not use or disclose personal information for purposes that would require a separate "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" link.
3. How We Use Personal Information
- Processing, shipping, and delivering your orders, including customs clearance handled by us under our Delivered Duty Paid model
- Handling returns, refunds, cancellations, and support requests (we reply within 24 business hours)
- Sending transactional emails (order confirmation, tracking within 24–48 hours of dispatch, refund notices)
- Sending marketing emails only if you opt in — we do not do SMS marketing, and you can unsubscribe from email at any time
- Improving the Site, preventing fraud, and complying with legal obligations
4. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising Partners
We use cookies and similar technologies for three purposes: (a) essential functions like the cart and checkout; (b) analytics that show us, in aggregate, how the Site is used; and (c) advertising measurement with ad partners, which may involve cookies that link your browser across sites. Category (c) may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law even though no money changes hands. You can control non-essential cookies through our cookie preferences tool, and your browser's Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal is honored automatically — when we detect it, we treat it as a valid opt-out of sharing for that browser without any further action from you.
5. How We Share Personal Information
We share personal information only as needed to run the business: with our fulfillment partners, logistics carriers, payment processors, the Shopify platform, analytics and advertising providers as described above, professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires it. We never sell personal information for money, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
6. International Data Transfers
Because orders ship from our fulfillment partners in China, the order and shipping data needed to pack and dispatch your package — typically your name, shipping address, phone number, and item list — is shared with those partners in China. Shipping data is also shared with logistics providers in the United States (USPS, UPS, FedEx) for final delivery, and returns data is shared with our returns facility in Texas. We share only what fulfillment requires, and our partners may use it only to fulfill orders, not for their own marketing.
7. Your Privacy Rights
If you live in California, you have rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA. Similar rights exist under the privacy laws of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and a growing number of other states. Depending on your state, you may have the right to:
- Know/Access: request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold about you
- Delete: request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep for tax purposes)
- Correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Opt out: opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and of targeted advertising (see Section 8)
- Portability: receive a copy of your data in a usable format
- Non-discrimination: exercise these rights without being charged more or receiving worse service
How to exercise your rights: email support@trilumity.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We verify requests by matching the information you provide (such as your email address and a recent order number) against our records. We never require a government ID. We will confirm receipt and respond within 45 days; if we need more time, we will tell you and may extend once by a further 45 days where the law allows. You may use an authorized agent; we will ask for proof of authorization.
Right to Appeal: if we decline your request in whole or in part, you may appeal by replying to our decision email with "Appeal" in the subject line. We will respond to appeals within 60 days where applicable state law provides an appeal right, and we will explain our reasons. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state Attorney General.
8. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell personal information for money. To opt out of "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, use any of these three methods — no account and no government ID required:
- Global Privacy Control: turn on GPC in your browser or extension; we honor the signal automatically for that browser.
- Cookie preferences: use the cookie settings tool on our Site to switch off advertising cookies.
- Email: send "Do Not Sell or Share" to support@trilumity.com.
We process opt-out requests within 15 business days and do not discriminate against you for opting out. See our "Do Not Sell My Information" page for details.
9. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Our Site is for adults 18 and older, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 for sale/share purposes). We sell some products sized for kids — such as kids' press-on nail sets — but these are purchased by adults, and any children's sizing information (for example, a small nail size selection) is provided to us by parents or guardians, not by children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, email support@trilumity.com and we will delete it.
10. Data Security
All traffic to trilumity.com is protected by HTTPS with TLS encryption. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers that maintain PCI DSS compliance, and we never store your full card number. We limit internal access to personal information to what each function needs. No online service can promise absolute security, so we also encourage you to use a strong, unique password if you create an account.
11. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above: order and tax records for up to 7 years as required by law, support correspondence for as long as it remains relevant, and analytics data on the schedules noted in the Notice at Collection table. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with an updated "Last Updated" date, and for material changes we will provide additional notice, such as a Site banner or an email to customers.
